Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Al Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ami Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Al Adams looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young shoots in looking for a takedown. Adams tries to sprawl out of it but Young keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Adams manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Adams has managed to clinch.
Adams lands a body punch in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Young's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Young fails to pull guard.
Adams scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Still in the clinch, Adams scores with a nice short uppercut.
Young tries to pull guard but Adams forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Al Adams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ami Young.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A right hook to the body lands for Adams.
Young looks winded!
Adams gets through Young's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Adams scores with a knee to the head.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Adams lands a right hand that snaps the head of Young backwards.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Adams creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Adams unloads a knee to the mid-section.
A nice left hand lands by Adams.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Adams.
Adams has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Young - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Adams, and another! Young is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Al Adams!
After winning the bout, Al Adams thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
