Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scott Chen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manfred Siedenkranz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Scott Chen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Manfred Siedenkranz! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Siedenkranz throws a lazy head kick and Chen moves into the clinch. Chen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Siedenkranz looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Siedenkranz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Siedenkranz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Chen's guard. Siedenkranz is working for an americana but Chen has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Siedenkranz was thinking about the submission. Chen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Siedenkranz trying to control but Chen is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Siedenkranz decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Siedenkranz shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Chen manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Siedenkranz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Siedenkranz looking to sit in guard and control but Chen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Chen preventing the sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Siedenkranz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Siedenkranz working a defensive guard here.
Siedenkranz is pulling down on Chen's head to control his posture. Chen lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Siedenkranz has momentary wrist control but Chen slips an elbow through the middle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Siedenkranz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chen defends it easily. Chen trying to control the position from guard on top but Siedenkranz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Siedenkranz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Chen tries to free his leg and advance position but Siedenkranz is retaining full guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Siedenkranz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chen is aware though and is defending well.

Siedenkranz looks winded! Chen trying to control the position but Siedenkranz is working away. Chen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Siedenkranz tries to get back to half guard but can't. Chen lands some shots froms side control. Chen lands an elbow. Siedenkranz is looking for a sweep. Siedenkranz holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Siedenkranz has escaped the position, nice work there. Chen in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Chen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Chen grinds an elbow into Siedenkranz's temple. Siedenkranz gets back to half guard. Chen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Siedenkranz wants to control but Chen passes into side.
Chen stands up and beckons Siedenkranz to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Siedenkranz manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Chen on his heels. He'll look to pass Chen's guard now, I'm sure. Chen kicks Siedenkranz off and gets to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Scott Chen dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Chen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Siedenkranz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Siedenkranz pulls Chen in to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Siedenkranz wants to sweep but no luck. Siedenkranz pulls Chen in to control the position. Chen trying to control but Siedenkranz is working from the bottom. Siedenkranz scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Siedenkranz tries to keep at a distance but Chen has taken the fight into the clinch. Siedenkranz is trying to trip Chen. He has hold of a leg but Chen is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Siedenkranz persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Chen has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Siedenkranz off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Chen gets caught flat footed, as Siedenkranz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Siedenkranz is breathing heavily. Siedenkranz postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Chen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chen lands strikes from half guard. Scott Chen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Siedenkranz avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Chen. Chen lands strikes from half guard. Siedenkranz on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Chen looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Chen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Siedenkranz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Siedenkranz wants to get back to full guard. Siedenkranz is still trying to improve position. Chen throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Siedenkranz avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Chen. Chen is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Chen lands a nice short elbow.

Siedenkranz wants to control the action here but instead Chen manages to pass to full mount! Chen looking to control but Siedenkranz is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Chen cracks Siedenkranz with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Siedenkranz tries to hold on but Chen pushes him away. Chen landing strikes from the mount and Siedenkranz is in trouble! Chen is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Siedenkranz can do to turn this around? Siedenkranz is in a horrible position here. Chen smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Chen looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. BOOM! Chen connects with a massive shot to the dome!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Siedenkranz blocking the ground and pound. Siedenkranz bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Siedenkranz stopping the sweep attempt from Chen. Siedenkranz wants to control from the top but Chen keeps moving. Siedenkranz won't allow Chen to sweep him here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Scott Chen dominated that second round. That's time! Chen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Chen gets caught napping as Siedenkranz dives in and scores a takedown. Chen manages to retain guard. Siedenkranz slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Chen keeping moving, preventing Siedenkranz from controlling successfully. Siedenkranz looking to pass the guard. Siedenkranz is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Chen avoids the head kick by Siedenkranz.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Excellent takedown into side control there by Siedenkranz. Siedenkranz controlling the position. Siedenkranz takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Siedenkranz with the ground and pound but Chen regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Chen is looking for a sweep. Siedenkranz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Siedenkranz wants to free his trapped foot but Chen is holding on for dear life with his legs. Siedenkranz has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Siedenkranz working away from the top, dropping strikes. Chen sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Chen tries to kick Siedenkranz off but Siedenkranz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Siedenkranz is pressing down on Chen's thigh, looking to free his foot. Chen is holding on for now. Chen is looking to control Siedenkranz's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Chen avoid being mounted?
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Chen trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Siedenkranz manages to pass to mount!
Siedenkranz cracks Chen with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Siedenkranz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Chen is looking to escape. Manfred Siedenkranz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Scott Chen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Siedenkranz cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
And that's the end of the fight! Manfred Siedenkranz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Chen has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
