Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Abrams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cu Cuchulain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cu Cuchulain is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, David Abrams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cu Cuchulain! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cuchulain gets tackled into the cage by Abrams. Abrams maintains the clinch. Abrams working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Abrams lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cuchulain or not. Cuchulain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cuchulain lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Cuchulain lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Cuchulain takes one on the button. Cuchulain tries to keep at a distance but Abrams has taken the fight into the clinch. Abrams's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Abrams shoots in for a double leg but Cuchulain sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Cuchulain throws a head kick but Abrams moves out of range.
Cuchulain throws a lazy uppercut
and Abrams counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. This has been an exciting period of action! Abrams misses with a series of wild punches.
Abrams definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Abrams really is a fat lump. Oooooh!!! Cuchulain has knocked Abrams down with a huge combo! Cuchulain steps away and waves a wobbly Abrams back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like David Abrams has been cut. Abrams gets tackled into the cage by Cuchulain. Cuchulain maintains the clinch. Cuchulain wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abrams scores with a shoulder strike. A short uppercut from Abrams. A shot in the inside from Abrams. Abrams keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cuchulain's efforts to push away. Abrams working some nice short punches in the clinch. Cuchulain wants to break free but Abrams has control.

Abrams utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Abrams trying to strike off his back.
Cuchulain stopping the sweep attempt from Abrams. Cuchulain must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Abrams holds on and takes a little breather. Abrams manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abrams moves out of range of the strikes. Cuchulain throws a sloppy head kick and Abrams counters with a series of strikes. Cuchulain will be more careful next time no doubt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Abrams gets in close and instigates a clinch. Abrams makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Cuchulain jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Abrams walks away with a smile on his face. Cuchulain gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Abrams misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cuchulain throws a head kick that misses. Cuchulain looks winded! Cuchulain tries to keep at a distance but Abrams has taken the fight into the clinch. Cuchulain takes a shot to the head. Abrams ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Abrams no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Abrams is controlling Cuchulain's posture. Abrams has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Abrams bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cuchulain's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abrams sitting in guard, not really doing much. Cuchulain throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Cuchulain will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Abrams stays in close to Cuchulain's body and controls the position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Abrams throws a big right hand that misses. Abrams throws a big elbow that misses. Cuchulain really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Abrams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Cuchulain wants to stand but Abrams is controlling the position. Abrams not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Cuchulain gets tackled into the cage by Abrams. Abrams maintains the clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Abrams. Cuchulain fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Abrams has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Cuchulain uses from the top position. Abrams manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Abrams scores with an uppercut up the middle. Cuchulain can't break the clinch.
Cuchulain lands with a light punch inside. Abrams lands a nice shot to the body.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Cuchulain jumps guard but Abrams stands there with Cuchulain around his waist. Cuchulain gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Abrams lands a body punch in the clinch. Abrams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Abrams scores with a hook. Abrams darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Cuchulain throws a lazy right hand but Abrams sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Abrams connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Cu Cuchulain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Abrams stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Abrams scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Cuchulain displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Abrams. Abrams looks to land a combination but Cuchulain avoids it well. Cuchulain misses with a looping left. Abrams is looking to counter punch. Abrams darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Abrams is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Abrams working Cuchulain over with strikes. Abrams seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Abrams throwing shots but Cuchulain is blocking nicely. Abrams keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Abrams throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Abrams throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Cuchulain to regain full guard. Cuchulain utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Abrams with a flurry of punches that miss. Abrams is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Abrams is looking to work some ground and pound but Cuchulain has wrist control. Cuchulain wants to stand and escape but Abrams is having none of it.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Abrams controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cuchulain throws a nice looking combination but Abrams bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Abrams drives through and clinches with Cuchulain against the cage.
Abrams lands a hook that snaps the head of Cuchulain backwards. Abrams has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Cuchulain uses from the top position. Cuchulain gets to his feet - Abrams follows without any prompting. Abrams darts in looking for a takedown but Cuchulain gets double underhooks and turns Abrams into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Abrams. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cuchulain's jab looks to have found its range, popping Abrams under the eye. Abrams lands with a nice combination. Cuchulain backs away looking to recover. Abrams takes the fight into the clinch. Abrams prevents a takedown attempt there.
Abrams breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Abrams lands a nice shot that snaps Cuchulain's head back.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Abrams clinches with his opponent.
Cuchulain tries to circle away but Abrams has him pinned against the cage. Abrams lands a hook that snaps the head of Cuchulain backwards. Abrams is trying to break the clinch but Cuchulain is controlling him. Abrams wants to take the fight to the mat but Cuchulain manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Abrams wants to break the clinch but can't.
Cuchulain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cuchulain takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Cuchulain misses the shot to the body. Cuchulain fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Abrams feinted with a counter takedown. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Abrams. Abrams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cuchulain's waist but Cuchulain gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Abrams off to one side. Abrams connects with a looping right hand.
Abrams misses with a takedown attempt - Cuchulain sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
And that's the end of the fight! David Abrams showed his dominance in that final round. Well Abrams has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
