0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Von Kormrok! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kormrok keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Busluvoic listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
It looks like Von Kormrok has been cut. Busluvoic throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Busluvoic cracks Kormrok with a right hand to the side of the head. Kormrok throws a big shot that misses. Busluvoic with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Busluvoic throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kormrok counters with a single leg into guard. Busluvoic didn't expect that. Kormrok is standing up over Busluvoic . Busluvoic looks to escape but Kormrok dives into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kormrok lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Kormrok lands some shots froms side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Busluvoic regains half guard, as Kormrok was trying to land strikes. Kormrok wants to lay and pray for a moment but Busluvoic keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kormrok looks to land a strike but Busluvoic avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Kormrok lands a couple of elbows. Busluvoic seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Kormrok with a flurry of punches that miss. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Busluvoic is on top in guard.
Kormrok wants to sweep here but Busluvoic controlling him for the moment. Busluvoic trying to control but Kormrok is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kormrok wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Busluvoic wants to control from the top but Kormrok keeps moving. Kormrok is adopting a defensive guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Busluvoic trying to control the position from guard on top but Kormrok is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Kormrok controlling the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Busluvoic 's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Busluvoic duly obliges.
That has opened up Von Kormrok's cut even more.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Busluvoic throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kormrok feints the counter takedown. Kormrok throws a lazy right hand but Busluvoic sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Busluvoic walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Kormrok drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Busluvoic swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Kormrok's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
