Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcin Tybura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thim Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thim Wolf has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Marcin Tybura's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcin Tybura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thim Wolf!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wolf gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Tybura controls from within his opponent's guard.
Tybura's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tybura landing with the ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wolf pulls Tybura in close to prevent any damage.
Tybura controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Tybura could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Tybura closes the distance and clinches up with Wolf, looking for a takedown. Tybura pushes Wolf against the cage but Wolf circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tybura fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Wolf! But no joy.
Wolf connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tybura's hands.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wolf displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tybura.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcin Tybura. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Wolf tries to sprawl but Tybura drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Tybura prevents Wolf from improving his position.
Tybura sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Wolf defending well though.
Tybura is taking a breather. Wolf says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Tybura missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Tybura has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Tybura keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Tybura has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Tybura gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Tybura wants a takedown but no success here.
Wolf gets underhooks to prevent Tybura's takedown attempt.
Wolf softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Wolf lands a hook that snaps the head of Tybura backwards.
Tybura has Wolf pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wolf manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Wolf tries to throw a body punch but Tybura avoids it by throwing Wolf back against the cage.
Wolf is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Wolf lands a body punch.
We've been informed that Wolf has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Wolf is pressed up against the cage. Tybura has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wolf down to the mat. Wolf avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Wolf lands a big uppercut and Tybura crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tybura looks OK. Wolf waves Tybura back to his feet!


Tybura is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Thim Wolf dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Wolf scores with a hook to the body. Tybura takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Tybura has his takedown stuffed
letting Wolf counter with a right hand.
Tybura shoots in but Wolf avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Wolf looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Wolf closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Tybura! Wolf dives in looking to finish! Tybura is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thim Wolf!
