Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunny Hiway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Faith No More (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hiway has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gunny Hiway! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Faith No More! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Eliza Hachem and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hiway closes the distance looking to clinch and More counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hiway is breathing heavily. Hiway tries to clinch up and More counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. More cracks Hiway with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Hiway looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Hiway tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but More paws at him with a jab and circles away. A little jabbing left from More on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Hiway misses with a straight right. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. More goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Hiway is rocked! Hiway is looking to take this fight into the clinch. More feints the counter takedown. Oh Hiway is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! More drops Hiway with a beautiful combination! Hiway stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - More is looking for the KO!
That's one minute gone in the round. More will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hiway stuffs the takedown. Hiway tries to counter by moving into the clinch but More manages to circle out of the way. Hiway closes the distance looking to clinch and More counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hiway looks to score with a jab to the body but More is just out of range. More throws a counter combo. Hiway closes the distance looking to clinch and More counters with a nice right hand that sends Hiway toppling to the canvas! Hiway scrambles and gets back to his feet - can More finish him?!
That's two minutes gone in the round. More punishes Hiway's body with a nice straight punch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! More lands with a nice body punch. More scores with a sloppy right hand. Hiway should have avoided that one. More throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Hiway's jaw, knocking him onto his back! More dives in looking to finish as Hiway flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block More's strikes! More is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Hiway's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Hiway was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Faith No More!
