Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gerard Vinol!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, David Schapiro and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vinol shoots in looking for a takedown. Rider tries to sprawl out of it but Vinol keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rider manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Vinol shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vinol showed some decent athleticism there.
Rider manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Vinol keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Rider scores a nice knee to the body.
Vinol with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Vinol has Rider pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rider manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Rider breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Vinol!

Rider shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Vinol is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rider throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Rider seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Vinol wants to stand but Rider is controlling the position.
Vinol avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Rider with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Vinol is rocked!

Rider landing with the ground and pound.
Vinol is still in real trouble! Can Rider finish him?
Rider gets to his feet and stands over Vinol, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Vinol felt that one! Rider unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Vinol from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Donagh Rider!
