Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Zchenko Jdikracnoff! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Daan McDonor! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jdikracnoff throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. McDonor tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jdikracnoff is in McDonor's guard. Jdikracnoff slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Jdikracnoff sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed McDonor's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jdikracnoff is taking a breather. McDonor says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. McDonor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jdikracnoff. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jdikracnoff wants to work for an arm triangle but McDonor is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jdikracnoff thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed McDonor's head. Jdikracnoff controlling the action here. Jdikracnoff has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can McDonor defend it? Jdikracnoff steps over the head and cranks it - McDonor is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Jdikracnoff!
