Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Silvio Provenza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olly The Sock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Provenza comes to the cage accompanied by Madreblu - Certamente. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Sock looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Provenza tries to clinch but The Sock moves out of range.

and The Sock counters with a single leg into guard. Provenza didn't expect that.

We've been hearing good reports from Provenza's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Provenza seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
