Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aidan McVeigh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilson Ferrall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McVeigh comes to the cage accompanied by E-Dubble - Let Me Oh. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aidan McVeigh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wilson Ferrall! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferrall shoots in looking for a takedown but McVeigh manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ferrall's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. McVeigh lands a high kick!
Ferrall takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
McVeigh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. McVeigh swats away the attempt to clinch by Ferrall. Ferrall has managed to clinch.
McVeigh's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ferrall looks for a takedown but McVeigh sprawls well. Ferrall tries to close the distance and clinch up but McVeigh swats him away and circles back towards the center. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McVeigh plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Ferrall moves into range and clinches up with McVeigh. McVeigh manages to break the clinch.
McVeigh throws a head kick that misses and Ferrall counters with a three punch combo that has McVeigh backing up. McVeigh nods at Ferrall to acknowledge the strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! McVeigh lands a head kick. Ferrall smiles back at him and beckons him forward. McVeigh shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferrall gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Ferrall darts in looking for a takedown but McVeigh gets double underhooks and turns Ferrall into the cage. Aidan McVeigh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wilson Ferrall. McVeigh lands a head kick!
McVeigh tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A punch combination from McVeigh misses. Ferrall with the counter takedown but McVeigh avoids it easily. McVeigh wants to land a leg kick but Ferrall is out of range. As McVeigh backs off Ferrall throws a huge counter combo but McVeigh manages to avoid it all. McVeigh slaps away a takedown attempt from Ferrall, before circling back to the center of the mat. Ferrall steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McVeigh. McVeigh misses with a head kick.
Ferrall darts in looking for a takedown but McVeigh gets double underhooks and turns Ferrall into the cage. McVeigh appears to be looking for a big counter. Ferrall dives in and grabs McVeigh's left leg, looking for a takedown. McVeigh pushes down on Ferrall's head and hops out. Some wild striking there from McVeigh.
Ferrall is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. McVeigh throws a leg kick and Ferrall counters with a nice double leg into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ferrall wants to control from the top but McVeigh keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ferrall drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and McVeigh dives on top into guard.
Ferrall is working an open guard so McVeigh takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. McVeigh misses the jab. McVeigh tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ferrall shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McVeigh but McVeigh pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ferrall checks a low kick from McVeigh. McVeigh throws a low kick, looking for Ferrall's leg but Ferrall calmly moves out of range. Ferrall changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McVeigh tries to avoid it but Ferrall manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McVeigh to the ground. McVeigh escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ferrall avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Ferrall now looks to counter with a shot at the body. McVeigh throws a head kick that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McVeigh feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ferrall's calf. McVeigh scores with a leg kick.
McVeigh throws a head kick that misses. Ferrall shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McVeigh as he jumps to the side. McVeigh throws a sloppy head kick and Ferrall counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Ferrall is sneakily working for an arm triangle but McVeigh sees it coming and defends easily. McVeigh wants to get back to his feet. Ferrall is working for a submission of some sort.
Ferrall is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, McVeigh has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McVeigh is defending against the submission attempts here by Ferrall.

Aidan McVeigh dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
McVeigh throws a sloppy head kick and Ferrall moves out of range easily. McVeigh lands with a kick to the temple. Ferrall shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" A combination from McVeigh does no damage. McVeigh swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Aidan McVeigh is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ferrall slips under a jab from McVeigh. A solid leg kick lands there for McVeigh.
A low kick from McVeigh misses and Ferrall counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ferrall is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McVeigh is just riding it out for now. Ferrall eventually gives up the hold. Ferrall works his way into side control. Ferrall tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferrall in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... McVeigh is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
