Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Casey Mcknight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Casey Mcknight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Jones! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcknight gets tackled into the cage by Jones. Jones maintains the clinch. Mcknight could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jones wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jones breaks from the clinch.
Jones closes the distance and clinches. Mcknight jumps guard.
Jones missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones is pushing down on Mcknight's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mcknight is fighting to maintain full guard but Jones has managed to sneak the leg through. Jones thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Jones is taking a breather. Mcknight says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Jones stands up from half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Mcknight on that attempt. Excellent takedown into side control there by Jones. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mcknight can't do much from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones stands up and beckons Mcknight to his feet. Mcknight fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mcknight sprawls well initially but Jones persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Mcknight manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Jones keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Jones has clasped his hands together around Mcknight's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mcknight struggling a bit here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones just content to control the position. Mcknight tries to buck Jones off but Jones is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Mcknight managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Jones.
Jones just content to control the position. Jones decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mcknight to his feet. Mcknight gets tackled into the cage by Jones. Jones maintains the clinch. Mcknight jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Mcknight gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Mcknight is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcknight looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Mcknight persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Casey Mcknight. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones clinches. Mcknight jumps guard.
Mcknight can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jones controls the pace. Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jones stands up from Mcknight's guard - Jones perhaps looking for a knockout. Jones clinches up against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Jones as Mcknight tries to tie him up. Mcknight jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Mcknight gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jones uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Mcknight is breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jones lands in his opponent's guard. Mcknight pushes Jones off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jones showed some decent athleticism there. Mcknight has one foot on Jones's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Jones dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Jones has closed the distance and engaged Mcknight in a clinch.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Jones. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Mcknight holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Jones has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Mcknight is trying to keep an underhook but Jones manages to get the takedown into half guard. Mcknight is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jones pulls his head out easily. Jones seems to be looking for submissions.
Jones not landing any meaningful shots this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones escapes and gets back to his feet. Jones pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Some bone on bone action there as Mcknight checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Mcknight throws a big counter combination but Jones scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones clinches. Mcknight drags the fight down to the ground.
Jones stands up from guard. Let's bang! Mcknight lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jones backs up against the cage.
Mcknight tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Casey Mcknight is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mcknight moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off. Mcknight doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jones scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jones stuffs the takedown attempt from Mcknight. Mcknight gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones forces Mcknight back against the cage and clinches. Jones stalls. Mcknight keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jones's efforts to push away. Jones jumps guard and drags Mcknight to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mcknight throwing strikes but missing. Mcknight throws an elbow that misses. Jones uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mcknight's guard. Nice move by Jones!
Jones gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcknight tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it. Jones feints the counter takedown. Jab from Jones. Jones displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Casey Mcknight has been cut. Jones pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jones scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Mcknight trying to control from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Mcknight! Jones sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Mcknight is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Jon Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Casey Mcknight's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Mcknight tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. A momentary lapse in concentration from Mcknight enables Jones to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mcknight manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Mcknight manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Jones is looking to break free of the clinch but Mcknight has double underhooks. Mcknight is trying to pull guard but Jones has him pressed against the cage. Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Mcknight fails to pull guard.

Mcknight wants to get back to striking at distance but Jones won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones taking a breather here. Mcknight defending against the ground and pound. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones decides to stand back up. Mcknight closes the distance but Jones moves to the side letting Jones counter with a right hand. The fight moves into the clinch position. Jones drags the fight down to the ground.
Jones wants to hit a switch here but Mcknight passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Jones there! Jones manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Mcknight is on him like a limpet, forcing Jones back against the cage. Mcknight tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jones just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Casey Mcknight. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mcknight is trying to pull guard but Jones turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Jones is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mcknight can't fight it off and eventually Jones manages to take the fight to the floor. Mcknight looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Mcknight is wriggling around but Jones manages to pass to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Mcknight might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jones thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Mcknight has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jones is working away from the top position though. Jones gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jones has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mcknight misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Jones.
Mcknight is trying to pull guard but Jones turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. A right hand to the body from Jones.

Jones slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Jones throws a big elbow that misses. Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mcknight swivels though and keeps the full guard. Casey Mcknight has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jon Jones is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Mcknight throws his legs up looking for a submission but Jones uses it to pass to side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Jon Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
