Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Errol Garner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Errol Garner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anderson Silva! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Franklyn Lucas and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Garner circles away quickly and effectively. Silva scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Errol Garner has been cut. Silva throws a hook but Garner blocks it. Garner uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Silva. Garner feinted with a counter takedown. Garner slips under a jab from Silva. Garner slips under a jab. No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Garner appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. A punch combination from Silva misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silva connects with a single shot there. Anderson Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silva lands a nice hook to Garner's body. Garner takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Garner shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Garner was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Silva is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Garner asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garner is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Garner's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Silva bucks up and tries to throw Garner off but instead Garner has got his back! Garner is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Silva with him. Silva is trying to defend but Garner has an arm under the chin now! Silva grimaces and is forced to tap out!
