Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Miklos Horvath!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jason Pearson!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Horvath.
Pearson lands the left hand.
Pearson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Horvath momentarily.
No luck for Pearson with that takedown attempt.
Horvath avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Horvath tried to counter with a leg kick but Pearson avoided it.
Horvath connects with a high kick.
Pearson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Horvath paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Horvath pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pearson goes for a double leg but Horvath avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Horvath continues to drive forward.
Horvath throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Horvath thuds his shin into the meat of Pearson's side.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pearson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Horvath counters with a nice leg kick.
Pearson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Horvath swivels and escapes.
It looked like Horvath wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Miklos Horvath has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Pearson.
Pearson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Pearson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Pearson avoids the body shot from Horvath.
Pearson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Pearson throws a right and a left that both miss.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Horvath throws a right hand that Pearson ducks under and follows up with a left that Pearson also avoids with ease.
Pearson wants to counter the offense by Horvath and move into the clinch position.
Pearson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Horvath tests Pearson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Pearson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Horvath scores with a leg kick.
Pearson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Horvath throws a body shot but no joy.
Horvath lands a big head kick that sends Pearson to the canvas! Horvath follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Miklos Horvath!
