Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Bartone or perhaps it was just good defense by Harris which made him look bad.

Bartone gets caught flat footed, as Harris shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Harris tries to stand but Bartone is controlling from the bottom.

Harris stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Some wild striking there from Bartone.
Bartone shoots in but Harris avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Harris shoots in for a double leg but Bartone sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bartone throws an overhand right that lands on Harris's shoulder, as Harris tries to avoid the shot.
Bartone shoots in looking for a takedown. Harris tries to sprawl out of it but Bartone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Harris manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Steve Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vic Bartone.

Harris has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Harris wants to get up but he can't break Bartone's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Bartone looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Harris would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Bartone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Harris can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Harris wants to stand but Bartone is controlling his posture from full guard.

Harris is breathing heavily.

Harris decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bartone wants to break free but Harris has control.
Bartone scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Bartone is trying to break the clinch but Harris has him pressed against the cage.

Bartone gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Harris is looking to escape.
Harris on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Harris tries to get out of the position.

Bartone seems to be looking for submissions.
Harris trying to hold on to Bartone's head to control him but Bartone postures up.

Bartone is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Harris doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bartone.

Harris pushes Bartone off looking to stand but Bartone dives back in and keeps control.

Bartone is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bartone prevents Harris from standing back up.
Harris knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bartone on the ground.

Bartone has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Harris defend it? Bartone steps over the head and cranks it - Harris is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bartone!
