The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lullard clinches up with Lukens Jr and pushes him back against the cage.
Lukens Jr lands a hook that snaps the head of Lullard backwards.
Lukens Jr has clasped his hands together around Lullard's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Lukens Jr has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
