Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Phil Arcuri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lewis Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Phil Arcuri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lewis Lee! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee punishes Arcuri's body with a nice straight punch. Lee scores with a head kick. Arcuri tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Lee tries to bum rush Arcuri with a series of wild strikes but Arcuri uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lee throws a lazy right hand but Arcuri sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Arcuri fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. A shot to the liver by Lee. Beautiful body shot. Lee misses with a few strikes there.
Lee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Arcuri lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Arcuri lands with a cross. Arcuri misses with an uppercut
and Lee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A shot to the body from Arcuri misses and Lee counters with a flying knee. Nice. Arcuri has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lee. A big left from Lee misses. Arcuri jabbing away but nothing is landing. Arcuri misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Lee counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Arcuri appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Lee throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Arcuri misses with a looping left. A nice side step and Lee releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Arcuri misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lee throws a body punch but Arcuri moves out of range. Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Arcuri moves away. A big left from Arcuri misses. Lee misses with a right hand and Arcuri counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Arcuri is stalling in the full guard. Arcuri throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee keeping moving, preventing Arcuri from controlling successfully. Arcuri chips away with some ground and pound. Arcuri works over Lee with some ground and pound from guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee wants to sweep here but Arcuri controlling him for the moment. Arcuri will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lee has Arcuri pulled in close to control his posture. Arcuri in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Arcuri in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Arcuri sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lee's guard.

Lee works his way to full guard. Good work. Lee looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Arcuri passes into half guard.
Arcuri looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Arcuri with the ground and pound but Lee uses the opportunity to regain guard. Arcuri scoring with punches to the head and body. Lee preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Arcuri tries to free his leg and advance position but Lee is retaining full guard. Lee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Arcuri's guard. Lee wants to stand but Arcuri is controlling his posture from full guard. Arcuri looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Lee wants to pass the guard but Arcuri is keeping the position. Arcuri working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Lewis Lee will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Arcuri counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Arcuri uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lee. Lee slips under a jab. Lee misses with a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lee moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Arcuri looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Lewis Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Arcuri checks a leg kick. Arcuri takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Arcuri drops his hands momentarily and Lee takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Arcuri misses with a takedown and Lee counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Arcuri doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Lewis Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Arcuri will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Arcuri throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lee. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Arcuri takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lee throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Arcuri sees it coming and avoids it easily. Lee throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Arcuri on the side of the head. Lee avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Arcuri moves out of range of the strikes. Lee misses with a leg kick and Arcuri counters with a takedown into side control. Lee can't do much from the bottom here. Lee holds on to Arcuri's head and controls the position momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee tries to improve position but can't. Lee gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Arcuri scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Lee is trying to control but can't.

That was a close second round but I would say that Phil Arcuri will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lee controls Arcuri momentarily but Arcuri frees himself. Lee trying to control the position here. Arcuri lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Arcuri missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lee keeping moving, preventing Arcuri from controlling successfully. Arcuri postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee has momentary wrist control but Arcuri slips an elbow through the middle. Arcuri stands up over Lee, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Arcuri is working Lee over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Lewis Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Arcuri throws a big shot that misses. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Arcuri takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Arcuri throws the left hand but Lee avoids the punch easily. Lee throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Phil Arcuri. I think Arcuri has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
