The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardacre staying out of range there.
Hardacre seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hardacre. Tyson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hardacre moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Hardacre takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A clash of legs there as Hardacre blocks the low kick.
Tyson throws a leg kick
and Hardacre counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Hardacre tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tyson was well out of range. Poor timing from Hardacre.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hardacre's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tyson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hardacre scrambles back to his feet.

and Tyson counters with a right hand to the body.

Hardacre rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tyson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A head kick from Tyson lands but Hardacre takes it in his stride.
A combination from Hardacre does no damage.

The fighters circle momentarily. Tyson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Tyson counters with a good, hard body kick but Hardacre shrugs it off.

Rocky Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyson swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Tyson clobbers Hardacre with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Hardacre fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tyson manages to avoid it.
Hardacre uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tyson.
Tyson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hardacre displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Hardacre delivers a nice body kick.
Hardacre moves out of range of the strikes.
Tyson swings away with a body shot that misses
and Hardacre counters with a straight right hand.
Hardacre is looking to wear down Tyson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

and Hardacre holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Tyson with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Hardacre lands with a short shot to the head.
Tyson scores with a shot to the side of Hardacre's head.
Tyson lands a nice shot to the body.
Hardacre is trying to pull guard but Tyson has him pressed against the cage.

Hardacre's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tyson connects with a body shot that sends Hardacre's belly button to the back.
Hardacre is breathing heavily.
Tyson blocks a head kick by Hardacre.
A countering left hand to the body from Tyson misses.
Hardacre on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Tyson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Tyson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
The crowd cheers as Tyson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hardacre doesn't seem phased though.

Tyson lands a big right hand that sends Hardacre crashing to the mat! Tyson stays standing though and waves Hardacre back to his feet!

Hardacre is rocked!

It looks like Damian Hardacre has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tyson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hardacre looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Oh Hardacre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Tyson throws the left hand but Hardacre avoids the punch easily.
Hardacre seems to have got his legs back now.
Tyson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Tyson lands a big uppercut and Hardacre crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hardacre looks OK. Tyson waves Hardacre back to his feet!
Tyson cracks Hardacre on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Hardacre falls backwards against the cage. Tyson follows up with more strikes that drop Hardacre to his knees. Tyson keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Hardacre! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rocky Tyson!
An out of breath Rocky Tyson thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
