Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between DeAndre Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eliseo Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eliseo Duncan told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, DeAndre Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eliseo Duncan! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duncan moves into range and clinches up with Jackson. Jackson is trying to trip Duncan. He has hold of a leg but Duncan is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jackson persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Duncan has his foot on Jackson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jackson works his way back into a safe position though. Jackson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Jackson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jackson stays in close to Duncan's body and controls the position. Jackson advances position into side control! Jackson lands an elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Check out the look on Jackson's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Duncan is being controlled here. Duncan is trying to control Jackson's posture but Jackson avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Jackson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Duncan for as long as he can get away with. Duncan wants to get back to his feet but Jackson drags him back down. Jackson taking a breather here. Jackson working the ground and pound. Jackson controlling from side mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Duncan is pushing Jackson's head away, looking to escape. Jackson manages to hold on to the position though. Jackson working the ground and pound. You can see the frustration on Duncan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jackson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Duncan tries to escape but Jackson is in control. Duncan is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Jackson lands some shots froms side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duncan is looking for a sweep. Jackson working the ground and pound from side control. Jackson is staying tight to Duncan's torso, preventing him from escaping. Jackson continues to stall. Jackson working the head and body with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson controlling the position from side mount. Jackson works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Duncan is rocked! Jackson cracks Duncan with a big elbow. Duncan is still in real trouble! Can Jackson finish him? Duncan takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. You can see the frustration on Duncan's face as Jackson controls the position. Jackson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. More hug and hope from Jackson. Jackson in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Duncan looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Jackson turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
