The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cho throws a sloppy head kick and Average moves out of range easily.
Cho connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Kimble Cho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
An inside leg kick from Average misses.
Cho looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Cho throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Average's head.
A shot to the liver by Cho. Beautiful body shot.
Average moves out of range of the body kick.
Average looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Average just misses with a punch to the body.
Cho goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Cho tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Average takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Average throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Both fighters circling a little - Average finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Cho is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Average misses with a low kick as Cho jumps back.

Cho misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Average fires out a quick counter leg kick but Cho just manages to avoid it.
Average is looking to score with low kicks.
Average finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Average throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cho throws a head kick that half lands.
Average throws a half hearted mid kick.
Cho checks a leg kick.
Average takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Average connects with a good right hand that stumbles Cho. Cho circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Average tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cho swivels and escapes.
Average backing away here, and Cho unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

and Cho counters with a three punch combo that has Average backing up. Average nods at Cho to acknowledge the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Average takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Average throws a wild body kick that Cho sees coming a mile off.
Cho throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Average.
Average lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Average takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Average takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Nice shot lands for Cho.
A punch lands to the side of Average 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Oooooh!!! Cho has knocked Average down with a huge combo! Cho steps away and waves a wobbly Average back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Mister Average has been cut.
Kimble Cho is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cho cracks Average with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Average tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Cho pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Average is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kimble Cho!
