Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tim Maguire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Barkley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tim Maguire! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Charles Barkley! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maguire wants to clinch. Barkley rushes Maguire and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Barkley is trying to trip Maguire. He has hold of a leg but Maguire is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Barkley persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Barkley is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Barkley in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maguire utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Barkley missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barkley engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Barkley passes easily into side control. Nice work. Barkley scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Maguire to see if he's OK. My spies in The Shit-house inform me that Barkley has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barkley working the ground and pound but Maguire is defending the strikes. Maguire knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barkley on the ground. Barkley fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Maguire's face as Barkley controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Maguire wants to get back to his feet but Barkley drags him back down. Maguire takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Barkley postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Maguire is trying to escape the position but Barkley is controlling the position. Maguire avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Barkley. Barkley tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barkley cracks Maguire with an elbow. That is naaassty. Barkley tries to score with some ground and pound. Maguire controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Barkley is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Maguire looks calm but he's in trouble here. Barkley gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Maguire is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Barkley lets go of the hold and Maguire can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Charles Barkley! Charles Barkley bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
