The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sinclair fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dam sprawls well initially but Sinclair persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Sinclair thows a huge punch but Dam dodges it nicely.
Dam is trying to get back to full guard.
Sinclair is looking for a kimura but Dam is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sinclair to get the leverage.
Dam regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Sinclair.

Sinclair has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Dam tries to close the distance and clinch but Sinclair swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sinclair, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
