3 - 8 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexei Orlov! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Igor Prikhodko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tolstoy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Orlov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Tolstoy shoots in and drives through. Orlov sprawls well. Tolstoy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Orlov counters with a two punch combo. Tolstoy goes for a double leg but Orlov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Orlov continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leo Tolstoy . That's going to take a lot out of him. Tolstoy closes the distance and clinches. Orlov tries to land knees in the clinch but Tolstoy avoids the damage to the body. Tolstoy is trying to drag Orlov to the mat but Orlov just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Tolstoy is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Orlov pulls him back up using the underhooks. Orlov forces Tolstoy back against the cage and clinches. Tolstoy tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Orlov lands a good knee to the midsection. Tolstoy won't want to take too many of those. Orlov unloads a knee to the mid-section. Tolstoy lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tolstoy is working for takedown but Orlov is calmly controlling the position for now. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Orlov obliges. Tolstoy is trying to force a seperation but Orlov has the dominant position. Orlov lands a knee to the body.

Tolstoy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Orlov walks away with a smile on his face. Tolstoy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Orlov has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Tolstoy has Orlov up against the cage in a clinch.
Tolstoy gets control of Orlov's arms and successfully pulls guard. Tolstoy will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Orlov trying to control but Tolstoy is working from the bottom.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Tolstoy throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Orlov trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Orlov trying to control but Tolstoy is working from the bottom. Orlov might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tolstoy haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Tolstoy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Orlov won't allow Tolstoy to sweep him here. Orlov postures up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Orlov lands with a nice body kick. Orlov tries a head kick but it misses.
Tolstoy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Orlov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tolstoy somewhat. Orlov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tolstoy tries to land a body kick and Orlov counters with a body kick. Tolstoy closes the distance and clinches up with Orlov, looking for a takedown. Tolstoy pushes Orlov against the cage but Orlov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Orlov throws a fast counter high kick but Tolstoy manages to duck under it in time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leo Tolstoy . That's going to take a lot out of him. Tolstoy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Tolstoy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Orlov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Orlov pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Orlov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Tolstoy shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Orlov napping and manages to drive through into side control! Orlov is holding Tolstoy down, trying to stall. Tolstoy goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Orlov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Tolstoy but great work by Orlov.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

And that's the end of the fight! Alexei Orlov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Orlov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
