Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Asturiem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remy Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santana has chosen Lost prophets-rooftops as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Asturiem as Santana shoots in.
Santana wants to clinch.
Asturiem scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Santana shoots for a double leg takedown but Asturiem sprawls well. He's pushed Santana's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Remy Santana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Santana throws a head kick but Asturiem moves out of range.
Asturiem circles away from the clinch attempt.
Asturiem looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Asturiem's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Asturiem duly obliges.
Santana will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Asturiem rushes Santana and presses him up against the cage.
Asturiem tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Santana just stands there and leans against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Santana scores with a nice short uppercut.
Santana goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Asturiem is looking to break free of the clinch but Santana has double underhooks.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Santana keeps control of Asturiem as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Santana is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Remy Santana showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Alexander Asturiem is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Asturiem tries to close the distance and clinch but Santana swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Santana will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
