The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rokowski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jackson throws a counter combo.
Jackson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rokowski counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jackson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Jackson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rokowski sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jackson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rokowski finds it's way round the side to connect with Jackson's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jackson has Rokowski pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rokowski manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Jake Rokowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quinton Jackson.

Jake Rokowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rokowski feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jacksons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Rokowski cracks Jackson's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Jackson slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Rokowski can do further damage! This one is done, son!
