Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hagrid Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hagrid Potter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, John Bravo!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potter throws a leg kick which misses Bravo's front leg but catches the back leg as Bravo tries to avoid it.
Potter misses with a low kick as Bravo jumps back.
And Bravo tries to counter it with a takedown but Potter pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Potter seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Potter throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Potter tries a head kick but it misses.
Bravo takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like John Bravo has been cut.
Potter throws a leg kick but Bravo sees it coming and moves out of range.
Bravo shoots in for a takedown but Potter shows good takedown defense.
Potter lands a nice looking body kick.
Bravo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bravo closes the distance and clinches up with Potter, looking for a takedown. Bravo pushes Potter against the cage but Potter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hagrid Potter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Bravo.
Bravo looks for a takedown but Potter sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Good leg kick by Potter there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Potter misses with a low kick as Bravo jumps back.

Potter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bravo drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Potter defends it well.

Bravo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Potter fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bravo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Potter throws a low kick but Bravo avoids it.
Bravo feints the counter takedown.

Nice takedown defense from Potter. No joy for Bravo on that attempt.
Potter throws a leg kick that misses.
Bravo moves out of range of the body kick.
Potter throws a leg kick but Bravo sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Bravo avoids the head kick by Potter.
Potter plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Bravo shoots in looking for a takedown but Potter manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bravo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Potter throws a leg kick but Bravo sees it coming and moves out of range.

Bravo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Bravo shoots for a double leg takedown but Potter sprawls well. He's pushed Bravo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Potter cracks the inside of Bravo's front leg.
Potter misses with a leg kick
and Bravo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Potter won't be happy with that.
Bravo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Potter is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Potter tries to escape but Bravo is in control.
Bravo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Potter looks calm but he's in trouble here. Bravo gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Potter is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bravo lets go of the hold and Potter can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). John Bravo!
