Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Hare!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Big John!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hare circles away quickly and effectively.
Hare smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A head kick misses from Hare.
Hare works over John's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Big John has been cut.
Hare swinging wildly here.
John takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hare throws a push kick but John slaps the foot to one side.
Hare tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
John looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
John forces Hare back against the cage and clinches.
John throws an elbow but it misses.
Hare escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hare gets caught napping as John dives in and scores a takedown. Hare manages to retain guard.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Hare manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
John pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Hare's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hare takes a swing at John's ribcage but misses.
John takes a shot to the body in his stride.
John misses with a double jab
and Hare counters with a head kick that wobbles John - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Hare sends him down. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Hare!
