The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patrick fails to land with a series of punches.
Patrick wants to clinch.
Patrick tries to clinch up.
Patrick has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Dozer is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Dozer throws a nice outside leg kick.
Patrick has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Patrick there as he acknowledges the shot.
Patrick throws a right hand that misses

and Dozer counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Patrick is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dozer to keep the fight standing.
Patrick jumps guard but Dozer stands there with Patrick around his waist. Patrick gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Dozer lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Dozer pushes Patrick back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Patrick tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dozer smiles and moves away.
Frank Dozer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saint Patrick.
Patrick wants to clinch

and Dozer counters with a beautiful punch that sends Patrick to the canvas!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dozer postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Patrick covers up, he's hurt! Dozer keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Dozer and the ref steps in to end the fight! Dozer can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
