Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryu Hayabusa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shane Martinez! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hayabusa tries for a takedown but Martinez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hayabusa clinches up with Martinez and pushes him back against the ropes. Martinez stalling in the clinch.
Martinez has had enough of the clinch but Hayabusa keeps him there for the moment. Martinez wants a takedown but no success here.
Hayabusa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Martinez tries a head kick but it misses.
Martinez has his takedown stuffed and Hayabusa counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Hayabusa is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Hayabusa connects with a nasty looking knee right to Martinez's face.

Hayabusa lands an elbow inside. Martinez looking for a takedown. Ryu Hayabusa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Martinez. Hayabusa tries to land knees in the clinch but Martinez avoids the damage to the body. Hayabusa gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Hayabusa taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Martinez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Martinez fails with the takedown and Hayabusa counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martinez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Martinez looks gassed! Martinez thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Hayabusa not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Hayabusa stands and steps away. Martinez gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Martinez shoots and misses and Hayabusa counters with a body kick that stops Martinez in his tracks momentarily. Hayabusa lands with a kick to the temple. Martinez shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Martinez takes a kick to the side of the head. Hayabusa fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Martinez, pushing him back against the ropes. Hayabusa lands a damaging elbow. Martinez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Nice elbow from Hayabusa. Martinez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hayabusa is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Martinez to the mat. Martinez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Martinez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hayabusa controls the pace. Hayabusa seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Martinez for as long as he can get away with.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hayabusa wanted to stand there but Martinez had control of the position. Hayabusa decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Good exchange - Hayabusa coming out on top. Hayabusa drives through and clinches with Martinez against the ropes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hayabusa breaks from the clinch.
Hayabusa closes the distance and clinches. Hayabusa pulls guard effortlessly. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Hayabusa is pulling down on Martinez's head. It's preventing any offense from Martinez, at least for the moment. Hayabusa is looking to stand up but Martinez isn't so interested in that idea. Hayabusa pulls Martinez in to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryu Hayabusa dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Martinez tries for a takedown but Hayabusa circles away easily and Hayabusa counters with a single leg into guard. Martinez didn't expect that. Hayabusa gets to his feet - Martinez follows without any prompting. The fight moves into the clinch position. Hayabusa looking to stall.
Martinez lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Hayabusa is doing well to control the position and prevent Martinez from advancing to side control. Hayabusa moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Martinez is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hayabusa wriggles free and stands up. Hayabusa fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Hayabusa changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Martinez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hayabusa taking a breather here. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hayabusa decides to take the fight back to the feet. Hayabusa moves into the clinch successfully.
Hayabusa comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Hayabusa pulls Martinez into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hayabusa pulls Martinez in to control the position. Martinez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hayabusa keeping moving, preventing Martinez from controlling successfully. Ryu Hayabusa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hayabusa has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Martinez doesn't defend quickly enough and Hayabusa has managed to lock this one up! Can Martinez escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hayabusa on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ryu Hayabusa!
