Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bob Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Snake might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Thunderstruck. Bob Snake could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to DJ Shaw's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bob Snake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, DJ Shaw! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snake lands a jab. Snake smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Oooooh!!! Snake has knocked Shaw down with a huge combo! Snake steps away and waves a wobbly Shaw back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Shaw is rocked! Shaw shoots in for a takedown but Snake shows good takedown defense. Snake wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Shaw is still on wobbly legs! Can Snake finish him? Snake throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Shaw on the side of the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Shaw throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Snake tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Shaw is in Snake's guard. Shaw stops Snake from standing up. Snake wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Shaw manages to pass to side control. Shaw seems to have recovered his senses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shaw seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Snake is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaw keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Shaw wants to advance to full mount but Snake doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Shaw tries to free his leg and advance position but Snake is retaining full guard. Shaw stands and steps away. Snake gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Snake scores with a nice head shot. Shaw takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Shaw fails with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A punch lands to the side of Shaw 's head but he takes it in his stride. Shaw takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Nice shot by Snake. Snake is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Snake wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Shaw looks winded! Snake connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Shaw momentarily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shaw drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Snake is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Shaw has just dragged him back down to the mat. Shaw decides to stand back up. Shaw steps back and let's Snake get back to his feet. Snake scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Shaw doesn't seem bothered though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snake dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Snake cracks Shaw with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Snake scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Snake connects with a right hand. Shaw shakes it off. Nice jab there from Snake. Snake lands a big right hook! Shaw looks hurt but is still standing! Snake lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Shaw falls down and Snake dives in with a huge hammer fist! Shaw's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Snake runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bob Snake! DJ Shaw was interviewed post fight and said 'FUCK FUCK FUCK this is not my fault although i thank the fans this is your fault '.
