The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva throws a one two combo.
Da Silva looks to land a combination but Thorsen avoids it well.
Da Silva throws a right and a left that both miss.
Da Silva slips under a jab from Thorsen.
Da Silva shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Da Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Thorsen.
Da Silva uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Thorsen.
Da Silva connects with a looping right hand.
Da Silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Da Silva lands with a nice combination. Thorsen backs away looking to recover.
Thorsen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Da Silva moves away.
Da Silva throws a low kick but Thorsen avoids it.

Da Silva wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Thorsen looks to throw the jab but Da Silva is out of range.
Thorsen throws out a loose jab but Da Silva uses good head movement to avoid it.
Thorsen closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Thorsen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Da Silva sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Thorsen looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Da Silva has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Animal House in the buildup to the fight.
Thorsen closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Da Silva ducks under a wild hook from Thorsen.
Da Silva drops down looking for a counter takedown but Thorsen sprawls and moves away.
Da Silva scores with a one two! Thorsen had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Da Silva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thorsen lands an overhand right.
Da Silva is breathing heavily.
Da Silva tries to bum rush Thorsen with a series of wild strikes but Thorsen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Thorsen drops Da Silva with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Da Silva! Thorsen dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
