Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Creek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaspars Timma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timma gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Creek trying to control but Timma is working from the bottom.
Creek is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Timma is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Creek trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Creek trying to control the position from guard on top but Timma is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Timma really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Creek. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Timma escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Creek gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Timma can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kaspars Timma showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
