The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gates misses with a left hand
and Shibaloma counters with a head kick. That will keep Gates thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Gates looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Gates takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Gates throws a leg kick that is checked
and Shibaloma counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Shibaloma chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Shibaloma lands a leg kick that knocks Gates off balance momentarily.
Jab by Shibaloma.
Shibaloma fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Shibaloma turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Gates misses with a body shot
and Shibaloma counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Shibaloma.
Shibaloma has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shibaloma throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Gates's head.
Shibaloma digs a good hook to Gates's body.
Shibaloma connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Gates throws a combination that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Shibaloma lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Gates is rocked!
Crack! A monster head kick from Shibaloma and Gates falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Shibaloma!
