Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ivan Drago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jake Fields!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fields tries to close the distance and clinch but Drago swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fields dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fields shoots and misses
letting Drago counter with a right hand.

Fields pushes Drago up against the cage in a clinch.
Drago definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fields can't get the takedown.
Fields has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Drago avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Ivan Drago has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Fields.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fields looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Drago has picked Fields up and slammed him! Fields can't keep hold of the triangle and Drago manages to pass to side control!

Drago connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Drago looks to score with a jab to the body but Fields is just out of range.

Fields shoots in for a double leg but Drago sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Drago is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fields can do to turn this around?

Fields is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Drago is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Drago has escaped and now he's on top!

Fields is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Fields looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Drago is fending him off so far but Fields persists. Nope, Drago circles away and we're back to standing.

Fields changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Fields shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Drago sprawls well. Drago wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fields gets slowly back to his feet.

Drago throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Drago misses with an uppercut. Fields saw that one coming.
Drago tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fields shoots in but no luck this time.
Drago is looking to counter the offense by Fields and move into the clinch.

Fields dives in for a single leg takedown but Drago sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
