Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paddy Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohamed Hazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mohamed Hazier is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Paddy Ward! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Mohamed Hazier ! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ward shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hazier napping and manages to drive through into side control! Ward looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Hazier is avoiding damage well.
Hazier is trying to buck Ward off. Hazier dodges the ground and pound from Ward. Ward trying to control the action but Hazier is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ward sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Hazier is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ward in side control, throwing shots but Hazier defends. Hazier takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Ward is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Hazier will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ward is working Hazier over with some ground and pound from side control. Ward has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ward working the body and head with strikes. Hazier being controlled for a moment. Ward lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hazier down.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Ward misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ward lands an elbow. Hazier takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

That has opened up Mohamed Hazier 's cut even more. Ward postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Hazier is trying to buck Ward off. Ward controls the position. Ward working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Ward looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Hazier is avoiding damage well.

Mohamed Hazier 's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mohamed Hazier 's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Paddy Ward! A less than humble Paddy Ward misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
