Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Akiro Sata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sata comes to the cage accompanied by Onward to Victory!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jamie Reyes!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sata throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Reyes sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Reyes is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A chopping leg kick lands by Reyes.
Reyes avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sata loads up on a big right hand but Reyes slips the punch.
Reyes stuffs the takedown attempt from Sata. Sata gets slowly back to his feet.
Reyes swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice sprawl there from Reyes as Sata shoots in.
Sata misses with a jab, cross combination.
Reyes takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Reyes tries a head kick but it misses.
Reyes keeps the fight on the outside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reyes scores with a sloppy right hand. Sata should have avoided that one.

Reyes throws a leg kick which misses Sata's front leg but catches the back leg as Sata tries to avoid it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sata stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reyes swivels though and keeps the full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sata accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Reyes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Reyes will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Well Reyes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
