Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Pascal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Detroit Racer!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Racer misses with a hook.
Racer's coach down at Club Pain was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Racer's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Pascal bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A jab from Racer finds it's way through Pascal's defenses.


It looks like Jean Pascal has been cut.
Pascal throws a lazy uppercut
and Racer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Pascal connects with a nice looking jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Racer misses the target.
Racer misses with a lunging right hand
and Pascal counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Pascal displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Racer throws out the jab.
Nice uppercut there from Racer.
Pascal takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Racer throws a shot from downtown. Pascal moves away and avoids it.
Pascal moves away from the strike by Racer.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Racer fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Pascal checks it well.
Racer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pascal.
Racer looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Pascal scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Pascal throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Racer throws a shot to the body.
Pascal slips under a jab.
Racer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pascal moves away.
Pascal uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Racer.
Pascal keeps the fight on the outside.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Racer misses with a hook from the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Racer.
Pascal is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Pascal is trying to push Racer away but Racer has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Racer is looking for a takedown.
Racer lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Racer drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pascal gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Pascal is pressed up against the cage. Racer has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pascal down to the mat. Pascal avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Jean Pascal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Detroit Racer.
Pascal uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Racer.
Racer throws out a loose jab but Pascal uses good head movement to avoid it.

Racer drives through with a takedown into Pascal's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Racer is working Pascal over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Pascal can't keep his opponent in guard - Racer advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Racer lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Racer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Racer is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Racer scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Pascal is staying active underneath Racer, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Racer slips a nice elbow through Pascal's hands, connecting with Pascal's forehead.
Racer is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Racer lands a big elbow - Pascal is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Racer!

Our winner, Detroit Racer, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
