Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mitchell Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergey Lysenkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sergey Lysenkov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mitchell Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sergey Lysenkov! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lysenkov tries to clinch up. Miller swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Lysenkov takes the fight into the clinch. Lysenkov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lysenkov tries to clinch up but Miller circles away and keeps his distance. Miller gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lysenkov to score an easy takedown into full guard. Lysenkov landing some decent shots from guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lysenkov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Miller looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Lysenkov shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Lysenkov wants to stand but Miller has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Lysenkov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Miller's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lysenkov trying to control the action but Miller is working from the bottom. Miller could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Lysenkov is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Lysenkov is working for a kimura but Miller is defending it quite comfortably.
Lysenkov is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Miller as he works his way to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Miller can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lysenkov controls the pace. Miller might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lysenkov postures up.

Lysenkov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Miller scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Miller drives through with a takedown into Lysenkov's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Miller is standing up over Lysenkov. Lysenkov looks to escape but Miller dives into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lysenkov is looking to reverse the position. Lysenkov takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. An elbow from Miller crashes against the mat.
Miller is staying tight to Lysenkov's torso, preventing him from escaping. Miller looks up at the clock and then as Lysenkov takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Miller smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Miller is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lysenkov's shoulder. That is not cool. Lysenkov wants to control but Miller postures up. Miller working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Miller is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lysenkov can do to turn this around? Miller working the body and head with strikes. Lysenkov struggling a bit here. Lysenkov is looking to reverse the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Miller thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Miller throwing shots but missing, from side control.
