Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between William Ryder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohammed Omad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ryder might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Country Boy by Aaron Lewis. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omad fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ryder.
Mohammed Omad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ryder takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like William Ryder has been cut.
A head kick misses from Omad.
Omad throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
An inside leg kick lands from Omad.
Omad with a nice cross.
Omad misses with a head kick.
Omad throws a head kick that misses.
Ryder thinks about countering with a head kick.
Omad scoring well with a low kick there.

Omad misses with a double jab.
Ryder attempts a counter takedown but Omad avoids it well and moves away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Omad throws a right and a left that both miss.
Omad connects with a leg kick. Ryder looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Ryder has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Omad throws a sloppy head kick
and Ryder counters with a nice double leg into side control. Omad won't be happy with that.

Omad is trying to control Ryder's posture but Ryder avoids it.
Ryder landing a few strikes.
Omad tries to bench press Ryder off him but Ryder keeps the position.
Omad takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Omad is looking for a sweep.
Ryder in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Ryder is chipping away with strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ryder lands some shots froms side control.

Ryder cracks Omad with a big right hand but Omad just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Ryder is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Omad looks calm but he's in trouble here. Ryder gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Omad is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ryder lets go of the hold and Omad can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). William Ryder!
