The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Truck gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Truck manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Monsoon manages to get himself to full guard.

Truck postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Monsoon looks for a takedown but Truck sprawls well.

Truck throws a hook to the side of Monsoon's head but Monsoon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Monsoon tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Truck manages to circle out of the way.

Monsoon tries to close the distance and clinch but Truck swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Truck gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Truck is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Truck is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Oh Monsoon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big strike lands for Truck! That's really hurt Monsoon and he's turned his back - Truck keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Truck jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
