Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Adkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Canijo Enano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Canijo Enano looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Matt Adkins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Canijo Enano! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adkins gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Adkins manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Adkins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Enano tries to sprawl but Adkins drives through with a takedown into half guard. Enano manages to escape and get back to his feet! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Adkins closes the distance and clinches. Enano fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Enano controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adkins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Adkins moves nicely into side control. Enano tries to bench press Adkins off him but Adkins keeps the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Enano pushes Adkins away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Adkins gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Enano tries to buck Adkins off but Adkins is having none of it. Enano wants to get back to his feet but Adkins drags him back down. Enano looks winded! Enano tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Adkins wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Adkins wants to control but Enano is keeping him busy. Adkins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The ground and pound from Adkins seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Enano is working to avoid the ground and pound but Adkins connects with a decent elbow. Adkins working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Enano is not content to let Adkins control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Enano seems a little lost for a moment, as Adkins dominates the positioning. Adkins goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Enano has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Adkins but great work by Enano. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Enano tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. You can see the frustration on Adkins's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Enano tries for a kimura but Adkins is defending well. Adkins regains half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Enano looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Adkins moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Adkins wants to stand but Enano is controlling the position. Adkins wants to sweep here but Enano controlling him for the moment. Adkins wants to stand and escape but Enano is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Adkins dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Adkins moves into the clinch. Adkins has hold of one of Enano's legs. Enano is fighting the takedown attempt but Adkins gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Adkins wants to control from the top but Enano keeps moving. Adkins gets to his feet - Enano follows without any prompting. Enano misses with a body punch
and Adkins counters with a left and a right that stings Enano. Adkins instigates a clinch. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Enano has eaten all the pies! Enano has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Adkins uses from the top position. Enano is breathing heavily. Adkins tries to free his leg and advance position but Enano is retaining full guard. Adkins will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adkins working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Adkins looking to sit in guard and control but Enano gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Adkins looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Adkins wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Enano is now in half guard. Enano takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Enano is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Adkins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Enano is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adkins tries to get to full guard but Enano has control of the leg. Adkins trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Enano can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Adkins is looking to escape. Adkins gets back to half guard. Matt Adkins overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Enano is looking for a kimura but Adkins is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Enano to get the leverage. Adkins gets back to full guard.
Adkins controls Enano momentarily but Enano frees himself. Adkins striking off his back but it's not causing Enano any problems. Enano is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Adkins is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Adkins has escaped and now he's on top! Adkins in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adkins trying to control the position from guard on top but Enano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Enano wants to stand up but Adkins is controlling him. Adkins landing some decent shots from guard. Adkins would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Enano tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Adkins dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Enano. Adkins half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. The fight moves into the clinch position. Enano jumps guard but Adkins stands there with Enano around his waist. Enano gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Enano is trying to pull guard but Adkins has him pressed against the cage. Matt Adkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Canijo Enano. Enano takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Enano wants a takedown.
Adkins tries to score a body lock takedown but Enano shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Enano prevents the takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adkins turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Adkins manages to end up in side control. Enano sneaks out the side door and pushes Adkins away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Adkins clinches up against the cage. Enano tries to break free but Adkins pushes him back against the cage. Enano prevents a takedown attempt there.
Adkins pulls guard effortlessly. Enano won't allow Adkins to sweep him here. Enano wants to pass the guard but Adkins is keeping the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Enano prevents Adkins from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Enano slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Adkins is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Enano defends well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Adkins has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Enano can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Adkins can't keep his opponent in guard - Enano advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Enano looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adkins tries to roll over but Enano keeps him under control. Adkins wants to control but Enano is keeping busy and won't allow it. Adkins is looking to improve his position.
Enano wants to free his trapped foot but Adkins is holding on for dear life with his legs. Enano working the head and body with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Enano performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Adkins fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Enano avoids it really well and circles away. Enano throws a counter combo. Adkins tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Enano manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Enano is looking for the big counter here. Adkins shoots in looking for a takedown. Enano tries to sprawl out of it but Adkins keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Enano manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Adkins gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Adkins manages to escape and get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Matt Adkins showed his dominance in that final round. Well Adkins has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
