Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Layzie Assassin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Assassin's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Thuggish Ruggish Bone. The key to victory for Layzie Assassin has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Layzie Assassin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Danny Dong! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Assassin has a takedown stuffed. Dong closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Dong sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Assassin defending well though. Assassin is trying to get back to full guard. Dong stands up and beckons Assassin to join him on the feet. Dong moves forwards but Assassin connects with a nice, crisp jab. Assassin tries for a takedown but Dong circles away easily and Dong counters with a single leg into guard. Assassin didn't expect that. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dong is stalling in the full guard. Dong looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dong gets to his feet. Assassin looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Assassin gets caught flat footed, as Dong shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Assassin is trying to keep Dong in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dong has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Assassin is proving hard to escape from. Dong trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Assassin wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Dong is now in half guard. Assassin misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Dong prevents Assassin from improving his position. Dong is controlling the pace.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Dong takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Dong darts in and clinches Assassin up against the cage. Dong ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dong no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Assassin trying to control the position from guard on top but Dong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Assassin looking to pass the guard. Dong is trying to keep Assassin in close.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Assassin forces his way into half guard. Assassin tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dong knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Dong kicks Assassin off and gets back to his feet. Dong looks gassed! Assassin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dong counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Assassin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Assassin controls Dong momentarily but Dong frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Dong dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Assassin has his takedown stuffed and Dong counters with a single leg into guard. Assassin didn't expect that. Dong stopping the sweep attempt from Assassin. Dong wants to control from the top but Assassin keeps moving. Assassin is trying to hold Dong in close to prevent damage but Dong has managed to pass into half guard.
Assassin slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dong gets to his feet. Assassin looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Assassin with a lazy takedown attempt and Dong counters by moving into the clinch. Dong stops a takedown attempt from Assassin.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Layzie Assassin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dong jumps guard.
Assassin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Assassin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dong is keeping the position for now. Dong managing to control the position. Dong is breathing heavily. Assassin won't allow Dong to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Assassin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Assassin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Assassin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dong is proving hard to escape from. Assassin trying to control the position from guard on top but Dong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Assassin looking to pass the guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Assassin wants to clinch so Dong counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Dong trying to move into half guard but instead Assassin has managed to sweep! Assassin trying to control but Dong is working from the bottom. Dong is pulling down on Assassin's head to control his posture. Assassin trying to control but Dong is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Assassin passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Assassin wants to pass the guard but Dong is defending well. Assassin is keen to just control but Dong is a slippery customer. Dong tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Assassin manages to move to mount!
Assassin goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dong is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Dong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Assassin with a poor takedown and Dong counters with a nice double leg into guard. Dong postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Assassin is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dong, into his guard. Assassin wants to control from the top but Dong keeps moving. Assassin looking to pass the guard. Dong takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Assassin wants to control from the top but Dong keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Assassin forces his way into half guard. Assassin seems to be looking for submissions.
Assassin uses his free foot to push down on Dong's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dong. Dong tries to reverse the position but Assassin maintains control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Assassin misses with a head shot. Dong blocking the ground and pound. Assassin looking to control but Dong is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Assassin is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Dong has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Dong! Assassin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Assassin looking for subs off his back but Dong has passed one foot through into half guard.
Dong controlling the action here. Dong missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Danny Dong is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Assassin is looking for a sweep. Dong is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dong wants to pass to mount but Assassin is defending the position. The fighters are battling for position here. Assassin manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Layzie Assassin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Assassin keeping moving, preventing Dong from controlling successfully. Assassin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that's the end of the fight! Danny Dong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Dong winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
