Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Khon Kaen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trewor Kosznik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Morbid Angel - Where the Slime Live. Khon Kaen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Khon Kaen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Trewor Kosznik! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaen tries to clinch up. Kosznik displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kaen throws out the jab. Kosznik leaves Kaen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kosznik feints the counter takedown. The fight moves into the clinch position. Kosznik lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Kaen is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Kaen jumps guard but Kosznik turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kosznik scores with a shot to the side of Kaen's head. Kosznik gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kaen.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khon Kaen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kaen is trying to pull guard but Kosznik turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Kaen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kosznik smiles and moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kosznik moves into the clinch. Kaen wants a takedown but no success here.

Kosznik gets through Kaen's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Kaen tries to pull guard but Kosznik won't allow it.
Kosznik presses Kaen against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Kosznik throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. A nice left hand lands by Kosznik.
Kosznik works on Kaen's body with a couple of short punches. Kosznik is working Kaen over against the cage. Kaen tries to pull guard but Kosznik holds him up against the cage and eventually Kaen drops back down to his feet.

Kosznik lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kaen. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kaen's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Kaen looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Kosznik throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kaens head. A short right from Kosznik. Kosznik throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Kosznik working some nice short punches in the clinch. Kosznik is leaning against Kaen and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Kaen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kosznik smiles and moves away.
Kosznik fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kaen to the ground. Kosznik is now in Kaen's guard. Kosznik trying to control but Kaen is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaen working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kosznik. Kaen trying to control the position.
Kosznik has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kaen to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kosznik is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kaen pulls down on the head and he's put Kosznik to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Khon Kaen! After winning the bout, Khon Kaen thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
