Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kev Kev Randleman!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
d riflair shoots in and drives through. Randleman sprawls well.
Randleman swings and misses with a hook to the body.
d riflair shoots in for a takedown but Randleman shows good takedown defense.
d riflair throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Randleman's waist but Randleman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing d riflair off to one side.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
d riflair tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Randleman just stands there and leans against the cage.

Randleman is pressed up against the cage. d riflair has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Randleman down to the mat. Randleman avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Randleman should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting d riflair here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. d riflair connects with a nice short shot to Randleman's temple.
d riflair looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

d riflair is looking for a kimura but Randleman is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for d riflair to get the leverage.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
