PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Julio Madrigal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gorge Jurgel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Madrigal kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lil Jon-Throw it Up. Jurgel has chosen Rock N Roll Train as his entrance music. Madrigal has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 16 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Julio Madrigal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 48 - 54 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gorge Jurgel!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madrigal keeps the fight on the outside.
Madrigal has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Russian Top Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Julio Madrigal decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
