Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Conor McConnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronnie Darrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McConnell kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Immortal Technique Point of no return. Ronnie Darrow has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ronnie Darrow!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Darrow shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McConnell's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McConnell utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Darrow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McConnell swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
McConnell lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
McConnell comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
McConnell bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Darrow's head backwards.
Darrow shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McConnell pinned against the cage. McConnell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
McConnell misses with an uppercut
enabling Darrow to counter with a crisp jab.
Darrow misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McConnell.
McConnell stalks Darrow and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Darrow's face. Darrow staggers backwards, shaken.

McConnell looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Darrow tests McConnell's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Darrow seems to have recovered his senses.

and Darrow makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
McConnell throws a poor cross that misses
and Darrow counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Darrow shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
McConnell is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Darrow.
Darrow lands with a nice body punch.
A bone on bone clash there as McConnell blocks the leg kick.
Darrow uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McConnell.
A nice side step and Darrow releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
McConnell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Darrow.
McConnell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Darrow counters with a nice leg kick.
A decent looking cross lands there for Darrow.
Darrow stuns McConnell with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Darrow has McConnell pressed against the cage, preventing McConnell from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Oh McConnell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Darrow scores with a shot to the side of McConnell's head.

Darrow pushes McConnell back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
McConnell is breathing heavily.
Darrow dips a shoulder and cracks McConnell with a mighty uppercut! McConnell falls back against the cage and Darrow unloads with a barrage of strikes! McConnell is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Darrow screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
