The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Fisher is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Calvan tries to buck Fisher off but Fisher is having none of it.
Fisher working away.
Fisher trying to control the action but Calvan is working from the bottom.
Fisher wants to stand but Calvan is controlling his arm.

You can see the frustration on Calvan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Fisher sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Calvan is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fisher shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Calvan but Calvan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Calvan misses with a takedown attempt
and Fisher decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Calvan's guard.

Fisher drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fisher jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Calvan controls Fisher momentarily but Fisher frees himself.
Calvan is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Fisher thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Fisher postures up in Calvan's guard and throws a big left but Calvan blocks it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Fisher is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Fisher passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Calvan!
Fisher looks gassed!
Fisher gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Calvan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Calvan moves into the clinch successfully.
Calvan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Fisher gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Fisher lands with a left to the head.
A short uppercut from Fisher.
Calvan has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fisher avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Z Calvan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fisher breaks the clinch.
