Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taj Trigger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
31 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bobby Light! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Taj Trigger! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Light misses with a two punch combination.
Light pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A countering left hand to the body from Trigger misses. Light misses with a two punch combination.
Trigger darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Light tries to score a power double leg takedown but Trigger sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Light somewhat. Light tries to bum rush Trigger with a series of wild strikes but Trigger uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Trigger, as that shot connected.
Bobby Light seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Trigger lands an overhand right. Trigger cracks a nice hook into Light's ribs. A good leg kick by Trigger. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Light is defended easily by Trigger. It seemed like Trigger was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. This has been an exciting period of action! Light misses the jab. Trigger stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Light. That's going to take a lot out of him. Good shot there by Trigger.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big right followed by a crushing left from Trigger knocks Light out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
