Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Truman Underwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michel Italien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Truman Underwood has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Underwood misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Italien throws a sloppy head kick
and Underwood counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Italien manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Underwood manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Italien on his heels. He'll look to pass Italien's guard now, I'm sure.
Italien is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Underwood dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Italien has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Underwood is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Italien.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Italien takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Italien managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Underwood.
