Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Bustamante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nickey Spillane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bustamante's entrance music is Here Comes The Boom!. A fine choice. Diego Bustamante has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bustamante throws a sloppy head kick and Spillane moves out of range easily.
Spillane scores with a nice body kick.
Nickey Spillane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bustamante takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Spillane shoots in looking for a takedown. Bustamante tries to sprawl out of it but Spillane keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bustamante manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bustamante was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Bustamante walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Spillane checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Spillane shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bustamante sprawls well. Bustamante wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Spillane gets slowly back to his feet.

Spillane has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bustamante crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Spillane - the referee stops the clock and Bustamante gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Spillane. Bustamante manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
