Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taco Vaco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ami Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ami Young struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaco misses with a wild body shot.
Vaco looks to score with a jab to the body but Young is just out of range.
Young gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Vaco.
It looks like Ami Young has been cut.
Vaco tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Young was well out of range. Poor timing from Vaco.
Young defending well as Vaco loads up on a big left hand.
Young tries to counter with a clinch but Vaco shakes him off and moves away.
Vaco fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Young manages to avoid it.
A big left from Vaco misses.
Vaco lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Young circles away quickly and effectively.
Nice cross by Vaco.
Young uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vaco.
Young changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vaco shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Young manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Vaco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Young swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Young has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Vaco doesn't defend quickly enough and Young has managed to lock this one up! Can Vaco escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Young on a fantastic submission victory.

After the fight, Ami Young was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
